Why is Earth the densest planet of the solar system?

-

• Among all the planets in the solar system, the Earth is the densest planet. • Although small in size, the Earth has several remarkable physical properties which make it the densest planet in the solar system. • Density is defined as the mass of a substance divided by per unit of volume. It is usually calculated using the formula p=m/v. • The unit for density measurement is kilogram per cubic metre in the SI system. Other units used for measuring density are gram per centimetre cube and pounds per cubic metre. • In simple terms, the density of a substance is the measurement of how tightly its molecules are packed. • The calculations are easy and accurate when the substance is homogenous in nature i.e. all molecules are of the same shape and size. • However, in case of substances that have a heterogeneous nature, the calculation results may not be accurate. • This is exactly the reason why it is not easy to calculate the density of the Earth. • The Earth has dif...

Can gravity be infinite? if not why?

The kinetic energy that water gains when it falls (and can therefore be converted into electricity by a hydroelectric plant) comes ultimately from sunlight and not from gravity. As a force, no energy can be extracted from gravity itself. Public Domain Image, source: Christopher S. Baird. No, gravity can not be used as an infinite energy source. In fact, strictly speaking, gravity itself can not be used as an energy source at all. You are confusing forces with energy, which are very different things.  Energy  is a property of objects, such as balls, atoms, light beams, or batteries. In contrast,  forces  describe the  interaction  between objects. Forces are the way that energy is transferred from one object to another when they interact, but forces are not the energy itself. Gravity is a force, so it just provides one way for objects to exchange and transform energy to different states. If I lift a bowling ball to the top of a hill and let it go, ...

By variety For some people, it seems like the stars repeatedly align, as if  they wrote their own destiny . Despite challenges or hiccups, these people come out of even the toughest situations unfazed, blessed in one way or another by what seems like a miracle. How do they do it? And what if you learned there was a secret to cultivating the life you want? It sounds pretty crazy, but the Law of Attraction is something that many people believe in. So what's the deal with all of it, anyway? The concept of manifesting destiny, which rests on the Law of Attraction, is the idea that investing positive energy and belief in any desired outcome will allow a person to bring the outcome to fruition. In other words, you have the power to get what you want simply by believing in it. Sound a little crazy? Maybe. But if people swear by it, it's worth at least exploring, right? Manifesting destiny and attracting the appropriate energies is, of course, a very fickle, tricky concept. To...
